MY OPINION ON DECISIONS OF EXECUTION

Should the inmate or prisoner be allowed to choose his or her method of death?

I feel that the prisoner should be allowed to choose his method of death sentence. I feel that the law should be that if an inmate/prisoner was found guilty of committing a murder then they should not be allowed to choose there own death method, it should be up to the family of the victim that was murdered in which they would vote on the best method for the case. The reason I said that is because if they took someone’s life away even if it was an accident, they should not be allowed to choose their method because they took someone’s life and that person could not decide what their method of death would be. It’s unfair to the person who was killed. I feel that this method makes the case much more even.

If the inmate/ prisoner did not commit a murder but his/her crime was a major felony, or the criminal was apart of a murder case and was found guilty then he/she should be able to choose the way they are executed. I honestly feel that not even the government should be allowed to kill someone. No one has the right to take another life, but sadly it happens everyday in America.
