The probable and most occurring outcome in this method of execution is that the inmate dies as a result of blood loss caused by the rupture of the heart, a major blood vessel, or the tearing of a lung. It is also said that the prisoner dies because of losing consciousness when shock from the fall of blood supply in their brain sets in. If the shooters miss the heart by an accident or intention, the prisoner will suffer a horrible death by bleeding out slowly. Another opinion of mines is that the bullet may hurt you upon entry. There is no evidence that it will not hurt before you die. People that survive being shot often say the pain is unbearable and there is a certain burning sensation, now you can imagine being shot in the chest by a rifle and you survive the shooting, that pain might put you in a state of shock and kill you.
